I can discuss refreshing suitable walls and ceilings, from a change of colour to tired areas that need attention.

Doors & woodwork

Tell me which doors, skirting or other painted timber you want refreshed, along with the finish you would like.

Preparation & filling

I assess the surface first and agree the filling, sanding or other preparation needed for the decorating work.

Exterior paintwork

Send photos of the outside surfaces and their condition. I’ll check suitability, access and weather considerations.

Finishing after repairs

If an area has been repaired, I can discuss the preparation and decorating needed to bring the finish together.

Do I need to buy the paint first?

Tell me the colours and finish you have in mind before buying paint for the job. If you already have some, send the product details so I can check its suitability and discuss quantities.

Is preparation included?

I assess the surface and agree the preparation as part of the scope. If there is damaged plaster, damp or another issue that needs attention first, I’ll explain that before decorating goes ahead.

Can you paint outside as well?

I can assess suitable exterior decorating jobs. Send photos of the surfaces, their condition and access; I’ll confirm whether I can take the work on and discuss any weather considerations.

Do I need to empty the room?

Tell me how the room is used and what furniture will remain. I’ll agree what needs moving, clearing or protecting before the work starts so you know how to prepare.
